Terms and Conditions

Introduction

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before booking a stay with LASA: Lagos Airbnb Shortlet Apartments (“LASA”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms govern your booking and stay at any of our managed properties.

By making a booking, you, the guest (“you”, “your”, “the Guest”), agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. This agreement becomes effective once your booking is confirmed by us.

Booking and Payment

1.1. Booking Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability and are only considered confirmed upon our receipt of full payment and issuance of a booking confirmation email.

1.2. Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. Payments can be made via direct bank transfer or through our official listings on our third-party booking partners (e.g., Airbnb, Booking.com). If booking through a third-party platform, their payment terms and policies will also apply.

1.3. Rates: All rates are quoted in Nigerian Naira (NGN) and are subject to change without prior notice until a booking is confirmed. Rates are inclusive of any applicable taxes.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

2.1. Guest Cancellations:

  • Full Refund: For cancellations made more than fourteen (14) days prior to the scheduled 3:00 PM WAT check-in time.

  • 50% Refund: For cancellations made between seven (7) and fourteen (14) days prior to the scheduled 3:00 PM WAT check-in time.

  • No Refund: For cancellations made less than seven (7) days prior to the scheduled 3:00 PM WAT check-in time.

2.2. No-Shows: Failure to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior notification will be treated as a last-minute cancellation, and no refund will be issued.

2.3. Third-Party Bookings: If your booking was made through a third-party platform like Airbnb or Booking.com, the cancellation policy stated on that platform at the time of your booking shall take precedence.

2.4. Cancellations by LASA: In the rare and unlikely event that we are unable to honour your booking, we will notify you immediately, attempt to find you a suitable alternative apartment, or provide a 100% full refund.

Check-in and Check-out

3.1. Check-in Time: Standard check-in is from 3:00 PM WAT on the day of arrival.

3.2. Check-out Time: Standard check-out is by 11:00 AM WAT on the day of departure.

3.3. Early Check-in / Late Check-out: Requests for early check-in or late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Please contact our concierge team at least 24 hours in advance to make a request.

3.4. Identification: A valid, government-issued photo ID (e.g., Passport, National ID Card, Driver’s License) is required from the primary guest upon check-in.

Guest Responsibilities and House Rules

To ensure a pleasant stay for you and our other residents, all guests are required to adhere to the following rules:

  • No Smoking: Smoking of any kind (including e-cigarettes and shisha) is strictly prohibited inside the apartments. A significant cleaning fee will be charged for any violation.

  • No Parties or Events: Unauthorised parties, large gatherings, or commercial activities are strictly forbidden.

  • Occupancy Limits: The number of guests staying overnight must not exceed the maximum occupancy stated for the booked apartment.

  • Noise Levels: Please be considerate of your neighbours. Excessive noise is not permitted, especially between the hours of 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.

  • Pets: Pets are not permitted in any of our apartments.

  • Use of Facilities: Use of the swimming pool, gym, and other common facilities is at the guest’s own risk. Guests must comply with all posted rules for these facilities.

Damages and Security Deposit

5.1. Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit is required before or at check-in. The amount will be communicated during the booking process.

5.2. Damages: The Guest is responsible for leaving the apartment in the same condition as they found it. Any damages to the property, furniture, or fixtures caused by the Guest or their visitors will be charged to the Guest.

5.3. Deposit Refund: The security deposit will be refunded within 3-5 business days of check-out, pending a satisfactory inspection of the apartment. Deductions will be made for any damages, excessive cleaning requirements, or breaches of the house rules.

Limitation of Liability

LASA shall not be liable for any personal injury, death, loss, or damage to personal property of the Guest or their visitors during the stay. We advise all guests to secure their valuables and obtain appropriate travel insurance. While we strive to maintain all services like WiFi and power, we are not liable for outages beyond our immediate control.

Right of Entry

LASA’s management or staff reserve the right to enter the apartment at reasonable times with prior notice for the purposes of inspection, maintenance, or cleaning, or without notice in the case of an emergency.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions and any agreement to which they apply are governed in all respects by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
